Has anyone reading on this site ever had the complaint ,Plantar.Fasciliitus. My husband has this and would like to know how long it lasts as the foot is swollen and very painful. any thanks for any help.

Worse in the morning when you get up and for a tome cannot even put your foot to the ground........but.......gets better during the day.
Swelling of the foot is uncommon.....in my opinion.

Our local NHS podiatrists have nothing good to say about the various 'special' insoles etc marketed at people in pain.
They liken them to the 'diabetic foods' like reduced sugar jam.
Mrs 9401 suffered for a while and it was a combination of deep massage, exercises and painkillers that got her through.

Just saw this. I suffered back when a postman, which you can imagine was pretty bad. I got relief through periodic injections and shoe inserts. Just to say if you search that on this site alone, you will get loads of useful advice.
As said though swelling is not a symptom, so best find out what is actually wrong.
