Gca, Or Temporal Arteritis

Has anyone been diagnosed with, and undergoing treatment for this condition? I'd love to hear from fellow sufferers to compare notes!

Not at all a common condition and i would be surprised if you found anybody on AB to "compare notes."

Well, my sister was eventually diagnosed with temporal arteritis a few months ago. Neither of us had ever heard of this before and it took the medical establishment some time to get the correct diagnosis. As far as I know she has only been prescribed steroids to treat it and she has been told that it could take quite a long time.
