Having had a houseful of visitors for the last nine days, none of whom smoke, I have got tired of their moaning at me and decided today to buy a kanger electronic starter kit.

Does anyone else have one of these? I have a few questions to ask which I have not been able to find the answer to by googling.

Easy to use, refills last ages and are quite cheap, don't explode :)
The company provides brilliant service too.

Thank you, daffy. The one I've bought is a vaping one, so it's a different thing altogether.

They look good, though.
Tilly, you smoke?? Welcome, I thought you were a saint!! Join Tonyav and me at the open kitchen window and watch out Mamya and Craft will be there too!
This is a vaper thingy too Tilly, the battery is the bit that looks like the cigarette, the vaping bit is the filter. I know many people prefer the ones you have to refill yourself though. Good luck with it all :)
And me... I gave up years ago, but restarted recently by mistake. Just enjoy it :-)
I have been a heavy smoker for fifty years, yet in the past few years I have discovered that when in an environment where smoking is forbidden I do not have the urge. I never take cigarettes out with me and smoke only in the privacy of my own home. I recently spent two periods of three weeks in hospital and didn't miss smoking. I suppose it's an ingrained habit. I certainly would never countenance these E cigarettes.
I managed to quit smoking 2 years ago now, I am very tempted to start again though, it's only cost that puts me off!
Oops, sorry Pixie, I forgot Gness as well

.............as from today, I am not a smoker.
Congratulations xx it's easy to give up. I've done it hundreds of times .
Apparently one of the most prolific smokers in the world is Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. She has two cigarette boxes beside her, one filled with untipped and the other with tipped. She smokes them in rotation. It doesn't go down well at Buckingham Palace when she comes to visit, but Queen Elizabeth puts up with it.

Blackadder, why would you not try the electronic ones?

Pixie, It's that easy is it?
Tilly :-)
:-). Hmmmm xx

Daffy, the cost is really prohibitive. My cigarettes cost over £7 per packet. I only buy five packets a week but that mounts up.

Tilly, if I don't feel the need I don't see the point. Anyway, these things are going the same way as ordinary cigarettes; they are banned on buses here and some establishments have also banned them.
Quitting smoking is easy. I should know: I've done it lots of times:)
