Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice with regards to this injury and general fitness. I was diagnosed with this injury a few months back which put my training schedule way off course. The pain at the minute is bearable and i can manage however i cannot do any high impact cardio such as running football etc I was wondering what cardio can i do to help me lose weight and stay in some shape? I still do weight training though squats and lunges are out and i try to use the bike and cross trainer as much i can however it does cause slight discomfort. I would like to continue doing some form of cardio as its the best way to lose weight obviously, however i do not want to injure myself more ( i will need surgery in the future so i dont wanna speed that up) swimming is not an option as i have nowhere nearby to go to so shall i continue with the bike or what else could i do?
Thanks in advance.

Recent research has shown that exercise has very little impact on weight loss anyway:

If that's your aim you need to be looking at dietary changes.

However, if you're determined to continue with a strict exercise regime, Youtube might be your helpmate. Searching for 'upper body cardio workout', 'seated cardio workout' or similar terms finds loads of videos, such as this one:
