Tonsilitis In May

Hi there I felt really awful on the way home today really light headed and faint and nauseated now my throat is like swallowing glass and my tonsils are huge It feels like tonsilitis I didn't know you could get tonsilitis in May

Surely you can get sick with any illness all the year round??

I hope that the doctor can give you something that helps. Go to the NHS site and see what they recommend for sore throats.

I agree there are seasonal variations in diseases - but not that strong.
OK getting suburn in december in the Orknneys is a bit of a non starter .....

Gordie - did you go on your trip on the train? I always get a throat infection after a long train journey. Last time I was convinced that I was going to keel over as I felt really horrendously ill.
