Eye Tests Rip Off

I went to Specsavers and booked an "eye test" informing them I wear contact lenses and glasses at different times. I went and had the "eye test" only to be told at the end that this test was for glasses, and that I should then book a further test for the contact lenses, ie another appointment at a further cost. Is this just Specsavers, or do all opticians do this? The last time I went to an optician, it was one test for everything at one price.

Two different tests I think. I have both
Yes two different tests.
This answer is from Specsavers, so you could say "Well, they would say that, wouldn't they?" but it also seems to be echoed on many other websites:

Thanks for your answers so far. Do you not think this should be explained to the paying customer when booking an eye test, or is it fair for them to expect every person to know this.
I've used Specsavers for many years and have never once felt that I've been "ripped off".
I fell out with my local optician years ago. we didn´t see eye to eye.
Guess who I bumped into in my local Specsavers today ......................... everyone!!
Yes all my kids wear lenses and they have two different tests.
dont know the answer as i dont wear contacts. However, I am sure that Specsavers will sort everything to your satisfaction if you explain the misunderstanding
