I think that the "different room" scenario is just a matter of chance.....coincidence....no direct connection.
In Menier's Disease there is a build up of endolymphatic pressure ( fluid in the inner ear ) cause not really known, but during these periods of fluid pressure build up, one gets that fullness in the ear which is so typical of this disorder. It may or may not correspond to periods of dizziness.
Good news on the "sugar front" ...it is what we expected.
