I don't normally seek advice on here but have had this problem for 10 days now and can't get an appointment for another 2 weeks.
I have this urge constantly to pass water. When I go I immediately feel the desire to go again but little, if anything, passes. I have no pain, just an uncomfortable feeling. I'm thinking infection, prostate, cancer &c. Anything to put my mind at ease till I see the GP?

Why would a male of 66years of age get a urinary infection?. Very unlikely diagnosis.
Keep drinking plenty and providing you do not get abdominal pain, then a two week appt should be fine.
However, if you do get abdominal distension, pain and difficulty in passing water, then go to A&E.
