Green Stools

friend's daughter who is about 40yrs old and a heavy drinker & smokes has told her mum she is passing green stools and wont go to her GP , what would be the cause of this ?

If that is her ONLY sign then it is almost certainly no big deal.

However, if it is associated with colicky pains, diarrhea,bloating or loss of weight, then she should seek medical help from her GP.
