I was far too upset to comment last night. Almost anything that can protect against any strain of Meningitis should be dished out a.s.a.p.. Read the previous answer and know the problems, thanks for the info..
But, my dad was an only child because his baby brother died of the disease in 1908 (I think it was then) and later his older sister died of it when she was in her twenties, in about 1920. Our family history has thrown up numerous examples and I suspect that most families would find the same.
This disease needs prioritising I.M.O.. Still finding it hard to think of that poor child.
