I have just had a horrible allergic reaction to ........something.

I went to my friend's for a cup of tea and a chat and afterwards went shopping. On my way home, in the car, my forehead started to itch and by the time I got home my forehead was covered with red wheals. Then, my arms started to itch and weals began appearing on my arms. By the time I got through the door, I was almost screaming with irritation. I dropped the shopping, took an antihistamine tablet and jumped in the shower. Mr T thought I'd gone bonkers.

It's all calmed down now all my clothes are in the washing basket and dinner is cooking. I feel a bit sleepy though.

PS. I'm allergic to Lidl! Or, it's my new Max Factor foundation. Who knows?

Process of elimination - go to M&S tomorrow. It will probably be your new make up though.

Hope it vanishes, never to return

I suspect the foundation, Wolf. On Sunday, my eyelids swelled, for no obvious reason.
I'll see what happens tomorrow.

Gotta be Lidl imo.
a friend of mine had a similar reaction and didn't know whether it was MF or her Chanel.....

What's MF, DTC?
Yes I was thinking that!
Milk - Lactose can be an issue and comes and goes. Does your friend have any pets?

Baldric, our Lidl has just been refurbished. It's quite posh now.
Perhaps I'm allergic to 'posh'.
Max Factor.....
I have a non specific allergy. Sometimes Chinese but recently it was mince pies which made my lips swell, I looked like Mick Jagger!! Why doesn't the swelling go to places that could be of some use?
Question Author
Oh, DTC. You mean Max Factor! Sorry. My brain is addled and I feel a bit spaced out.
That's scary, Tilly. As long as your throat doesn't close over!
Perhaps I'm allergic to 'posh'.
