Wart Virus

My son has an infected wart on his foot and the Dr gave him 500mg flucloxacillin four time a day.
When he was being seen by the Dr she had a good look round him and although he has plenty of other possible warts she seemed to think they would clear up a bit with the tablets. However we forgot to mention his ears are swollen and red with lumps all over them.
I knew they were red as he has been saying they itch for a week but thought nothing of it but we noticed it today and wondered if it could be part of the same problem?

I have never known a wart on the foot to become secondarily infected......very very unusual.
The ear symptoms are also odd and are you saying that he has similar "blisters" on his ears?
How old is your son?
Has he any underlying medical problems?
Is he taking any tablets other than the antibiotics?

He is 12 and other than heart surgery for TGA when he was six days old he is usually fit and well.
TBH they don't look like warts to me. More like lumps that look like blisters but the Dr at A&E on Saturday got a second opinion and they both said it was warts. We always worry about infections with his heart thing.
He has them on his foot, along elbows, knees and some we have noticed on his fingers now as well as his ears.
The one that got infected had been there about a year as just a bulg like blob on the upper, part of his foot between his big toe and the next one. I think he must have rubbed it on his dirty boy socks or something because the next we knew it was the biggest boils I had seen in a long time and it burst. We cleaned it up but it went a bit manky so went to A&E on Saturday.
Hopefully the tablets will clear it up but his ears worry me more because they are red and swollen a bit as well as the 'under the skin blisters'.
