Shoulder Tendonintis Could It Affect Forearm?

Hi there
I have been having real problems with my left shoulder for years. I have had 4 injections, 3 of them were very succesful lasting on average about 9 months. 4th one failed. I was sent for an xray and it showed I had tendonitis of the rotar cuff and been having physio. Over the last week the thing I have noticed is my forearm is really hurting from my elbow to my wrist. Could my shoulder affect my arm?
