in june I told you about my daughters partner diagnosed with mesothelioma .a few weeks go he was so ill they were advised to get married
straight away (they have been together for 23years and kept saying one day ).they got married sitting on a hospital bed it was a beautiful ,sad and emotional service .Yesterday surrounded by us all he passed away .my daughter and grandchildren are inconsolable ,he was young for this horrible disease ,I hope they find a cure so no other family has to go through what they did .

Thoughts and warm hugs to all of you - what a sad situation for everyone - I hope you get through this together - my partner has been diagnosed with cancer and has major surgery next month - I pray ( I am not religious ) that we get through this but it teaches us all that life is short so enjoy

Mallyh, my uncle died of the same thing. He used to work with asbestos, which caused his cancer. Did your son-in-law work with asbestos?

thankyou for your kind words , yes he worked with asbestos,the doctors said usually people in their late 60's and older get it so it was an awful shock when he was diagnosed .for two months he was misdiagnosed then he was told in june he had a very aggressive mesothelioma .hateful, dreadful disease.
Hope you are finding a way to cope Mallyh.

It's very difficult Mallyh, but, these times need a strong person.

I recall when I had to help my older brother bury his 14yr old daughter.

Tough times indeed.
