Can't Beieve I Was So Stupid

Last night I was trying to remove an avocado stone and ended up stabbing myself through, right through,my palm. Blood was pouring out and ended up in Energency. I had an X Ray and a few stitches, that has really blown my Christmas preparations, am going to see the orthopedic dr. tomorrow. One finger is quite numb, i hope I haven't done any permanent damage. Mr. Sam is furious with me. How could I be so dumb. ?

It's easily done. I stabbed myself with a steak knife and I felt it hit the bone...yuk. Blood squirted everywhere and lost the feeling in my finger for months.

Well.....the bad news......you have suffered nerve damage.
The good news....they usually recover without treatment given time.
Depends upon the traumatologist's examination tomorrow.

Next time hold avocado half with the stone in it and use the blade in a chopping motion . One downward chop and the stone will stick to the blade making it easy to remove

Thanks for your good wishes ! I'll keep you posted! At least I get out of cooking for a bit. And ironing, washing, etc. Haha. Now I will be appreciated more !! Poor thing, mr Sam does really.
