Home Cctv Security, Anybody Have Them?

I have a wireless one outside my front, which I can view from an old laptop in my lounge.
I am going to buy a 2 camera set-up for my daughter, and was wondering if anybody can recommend a not to expensive wired one, as been told can get a better picture, and less problems than wireless.

I had mine plugged in by my great nephew
and was then state of the art -= record and play back only

after a burglary A friend has his put in
and upgraded it this very month
Different box but same plugs in the back from the cameras

and he can view it from his mobile

used also by a lot to check on the dogz ......

I cant remember if you have to register with the Inrofmation COmmissioner
I do anyway as I keep computer records about third persons
