I just had a strange episode where suddenly my heart beat really, really fast. I don't think I could have counted it. I was just sitting down. It lasted only a few seconds, really only just time enough for me to think what was going on. Its strange because I usually have a slow heart rate with ectopic beats as well. Anyone any ideas. Not had this before.

I've had that before now. I'm still here ;-)
Your post poses more questions than you original questions.
SVT? how do we know? Are wee guessing? Although I am sure that they may be.
Bradycardia? why and what is the cause?
What drugs are you on? Beta blockers? e.g bisoprolol.
O_G is still alive.....great.....but that is O_G
I am sure that there is nothing to worry about, but before a meaningful answer be assembled, the above questions need to be answered.
