I'm on it and I'm not getting off it.
Had my diabetes clinic today and I stunned my nurse, the Consultant who is one of the top Consultants and myself.
My nurse was impressed at how quickly this new Insulin has transformed my readings and myself - I feel like a new person!
Consultant was struggling to get his head around how I'd gone from and hbA1c of 86% to 64% in 5 months - normally people chip away at it. I was expecting to be at 80% or something. But he wants to change my fast acting to a better and more fast acting insulin which he thinks will benefit me better. But I am allowed to think about it for a week or so. He also wants me to have a libre meter but I told him I don't want one but I'd consider one for a few weeks instead of full time.
But I am so happy...things are FINALLY going right Diabetes wise.
