Sort of following on from Donnys post below (because I don't want to hijack his thread)
Are there any foods that you ate as a child but cant stomach now?
Alternatively, are there foods that you couldn't stand as a child and yet eat now?

I used to eat pigs trotters and tripe. Cant imagine anything more gross now.
I used to hate tomato sauce but put it on nearly everything now.

Funny how tastes change...

Used to like corn - can't stand the texture in my mouth any more.
I used to love offal and I can’t stand the smell now.
Mainly sweets, desserts and pop. I used to eat the chicken neck from the giblets.

As a kids I disliked mince. I think it was more the look of it. Eat it now though.
I used to love liver and cheesecake but after throwing up on them (separately) I haven't touched either in 30 years.
I avoided mash potatoes for years after throwing them up when pregnant. I'm over it now.

Blimey, that's something that I forgot about, used to LOVE giblets and neck. Could still eat the giblets but not sure about the neck though.
I don't think there's anything from my youth I can't eat - a few things I don't because my tastes have changed though.
I never ate liver as a kid. I like it now.
Always loved liver, School's was the best - and my Gran used to cook roast hearts, delicious.

Anyone ever ate pigeon? Always fancied trying it. However there was a cooking programme on that I was watching in the hospital a couple of weeks ago (visiting my mum) and they were cooking pigeon legs complete with feet. That put me off a bit. Don't fany sucking the toes of a pigeon...
I like liver, but only if I cook it myself. Dipped in flour and fried gently for 5 minutes each side so it's still pink in the middle. Has to be ox liver too. Melts in the mouth.
Pigeon is ok, never tried the feet.

Yes Nails eaten pigeon, but never cooked it myself. Delicious. I had at the Gardeners in Edinburgh. Chitterlings were on the menu all over S.O.T when I was a kid. Couldn't bear the thought now.
I can still smell the Ox Tail my Grandmother used to cook for about 2 days. But it was delicious. Smelled vile to start with.
I used to love chicken when it was the real McCoy. It was a luxury and a treat. Sick of the sight of it now, never buy it.

Not a can't, more of a wouldn't, luncheon meat and saveloys.

I'm with you on luncheon meat. Also corned beef, spam and wafer thin ham.
