Yes. We'd die without it!

I've found wine a better alternative...

The other advantage of wine is that, whilst it's largely water so you get the benefits, after a couple of glasses you don't care anyway, so you don't get worry-lines to spoil your appearance.
spath you do talk a load of tosh about which you know nothing.
you'd dry out without it...

Well I drink loads of water and yet the doctor is calling me back for more tests for my BP and sugar - now it runs in the family and I am overweight too - but losing it very slowly
Ric.ror.

You have my sympathy as it is always diffident to know at which level one pitches one's answers.
The object of posting is to transfer information in terms that are understood by all....not just the clever ones and hence one often sees on AB posts which are factually correct but in a form that is only decipherable to a few. AB has it's fair share of the "knowledgeables."

yes, water IS good for you.

I'm sure water is good for you and I drink lots of tap water.....

I do have a relative aged ninety twoish now I think.....slim, sprightly with the most beautiful almost wrinkle free skin and glossy hair.....and a mind as sharp as ever....

She has never in all her adult years drunk any liquid at all....no tea, juice, alcohol or water.......nothing.....

Sadly she's an in-law and not a blood relative...... :-(

Oh I hope I did not come across as aggressive. I am quite disappointed about my BP and sugar news as we have it in the family and I pride myself on only taking vit tablets at my age too
Thank you all for your answers I really DO appreciate them on this and many other subjects
I have read that drinking too much water can be a bad thing as we flush out some essential minerals with our pee. I have no idea if there is any truth in that, or if there is, how much would be deemed too much.
