Happened to me a few years ago. Cat made two puncture wounds between my thumb and forefinger. The nurse asked if I had an up to date tetanus injection (yes) and gave me a weeks supply of antibiotics. Advised me to keep an eye on the arm and go to a hospital if it looked as though the infection was spreading.
