Eczema
9 Answers
I have recently developed eczema, diagnosed by the GP. The two ointments he gave me aren't working and the eczema is getting worse. Do you think I should go back and tell him, or assume that he gave me the best he could? I don't know how they work...

I had hoped that on seeing how bad it was to start with, the GP would prescribe something that wasn't just a "try this and see if it works" approach. I know there's no cure, but it's been bad for a good few months now, getting worse gradually. Sqad, the steroid ointment is Clobaderm 0.05%. The other is a big tub of moisturising ointment - I don't have that at work so can't give the name. It's not Aqueous though. I think I'll make another appointment...
I suffer from bad eczema and these products dont work for me either. Ive tried so many products for my skin and have been unsuccessful until I was prescribed E45 Intense Recovery cream which seems to work really well on my skin. The normal E45 makes it worse but the Intense recovery cream works wonders.
Misky do try this. It works. Available from Boots.....when they are not sold out.
