Daughter Left High & Dry
94 Answers
My daughter had been asked to be the matron of honour at an old workmate’s wedding.
She organised the hen do and has worked her butt off for this “friend”. Now she has been left at Manchester Airport because her flight was delayed and the hire car she booked, and paid for herself, is not available because they close at 10.
She rang the bride and asked if there was any possibility that a family member could pick her up and take her the 27 miles from the airport, to Blackburn. The answer was no, sorry.
Now the b&b she has booked, again at the her own expense is cheesed off because she is arriving late, through no fault of her own.
Sorry. Rant over.
Anybody else think she’s been poorly treated?
I told her when her flight was delayed by an hour and a half and that no help was forthcoming from the bride, that she should just go home . I’m fuming.
