Just read the answer about steriods and wondered if you get these side effects in asthma inhalers as they contain a certain type of steriods?

I haven't read the other answer but I am assuming they were talking about the nasty side effects of ANABOLIC steroids. Asthma inhalers contain CORTICO steroids, these are very different to anabolic steroids. As with any medication there maybe some side effects but these will be minimal and thousands of people use them safely every day.
As an Asthmatic, I use one of the steroid inhalers, and they are safer to use! The main 'side-effect' can be a fungal infection in the mouth, that's why the Doctors recommend you rinsing your mouth out after each use of the Inhaler. I have noticed that sometimes my throat will suddenly go dry and hoarse as if I have a cold or similar, but it only lasts for a few minutes! The steroid inhaler is preferred to taking oral steroids such as Prednisone (which is totally unlike anabolic steroids).
