when i wasa kid my nan used to sing me a song about little fishies and the only bit i can remember is.. and they swam and they swam right over the dam...


does any one know any of the following..


the name of the song (is it a song or a nursery rhyme?) can you tell me the words? was it ever sung by anyone and released as a record or he history behind it? please my nan cant remember the song anymore

Frankie Howerd recorded a version that used to get airplay on Children's Favorites in the 60's.

It's a pity they didn't put it on the cd with the other great songs like - Big Rock Candy Mountain and Three Billy Goat Gruffs!



There are two versions of this song which was released by 1. Frankie Howerd and 2. Max Bygraves. I'm not sure but I think it was called Three little fishes
