Iq Tests

I had an email offering me an IQ test. It entailed answering 30 questions in 30 minutes. So I thought I'd give it a go. Finished it in the allotted time.
It then said scroll down to get your score and certificate. I did!
To be told it would cost me £19.90, what a bargain it was reduced from £60ish not!!!!
I didn't bother. So I will never know.

If it makes you feel any better, Caran, I'll admit that I deliberately did it twice (before checking on the answers), with a 'quick scan through' followed by a 'proper look'. While I managed to get them all correct when I really studied the questions, I only scored 1 out of 3 with a 'quick glance' - and that's despite having a maths degree!

I did a iq test a few years ago on he mensa site, my score was 164 in a third of the time available. I think thats probably a bit generous although I am a store of often useless trivia.

I suppose the real IQ test was to realise that it was a money grabbing scam....
at least they didnt tell you you were now a certified scientologist

CAC // 164 is a good IQ score. In fact, 164 IQ means that you are very gifted and highly advanced. A 164 IQ would put you in the upper crust of highly intelligent people in this society. To put it in perspective, most IQ scores range from 40 to 140. Average IQ ranges from 80 to 120.//
I sat the Mensa test twice a long time ago and git 138 both times.Not enough to join Mensa but it did put me in the top 5% of the country.

Easy 3 questions. Spent more time trying to find the catch which tripped others, eventually checked to find there wasn't one.

Meanwhile Caran; create your own certificate and put down the figure you think appropriate.

Got number two wrong as I read the question wrong. The other ones I thought were too easy and thought they were trick questions so spent more time on them than needed really.

I got all 3 but if you like that type of puzzle you'd have seen them all before (which I had).
