Possible Tia?
6 Answers
Yesterday and today I have had episodes lasting about 30 minutes each where my vision goes funny the left side of my body goes week my arm and leg feel weak my face feels weak and I feel dizzy. It goes away after about half an hour after I lie down I feel better. I did worry it might be a TIA both times. I am very reluctant to go to GP or hospital for fear of catching Covid19, if I went to see my GP what would they do. I am on Edoxaban for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation so I thought the chances of having a stroke were significantly reduced? Do you think my GP would send me to hospital ? Obviously I don't want to have a stroke either

However over the years you have had cerebrovascular episodes and investigations for such with established underlying diabetes and auricular fibrillation. You are on anticoagulants and as such I would have thought another stroke iikely. If it were me, I would monitor the situation for the next few weeks. You may not suffer another TIA, ut if there were further devopments, then that would be the time to seek medical help.
