All best wishes to you and your son Mally. A good step in the right direction for both of you.
i really hope and pray his big chance works.
It's easy to slide down but very difficult to climb back up. Hopefully he is determined enough to succeed. Fingers crossed.
So pleased to hear this Mally, i will keep everything crossed x
So pleased for you both, mally & I wish him the best for the future :-)
You need hope to cling to, this certainly sounds encouraging and it must do your heart good after all the turmoil.

I pray it continues, you all deserve it x
Lovely to hear mallyh. Baby steps now but going in the right direction. Hope he can stay on course. Wishing him every success. Good news for all the family.
You say his attitude/else has changed. It is well known that it is not until the user (tobacco, booze, drugs) him/herself decides that life has to change that he/she begins truly to recover. In that state and with small steps feeling good is when/how the determination to see it through strengthens. Your observation is a good sign and worth savouring. Good luck to you but more so to him - remember to gently celebrate with him, no cloy or cheesy clichés just palpable admiration.
//sorry to bore you with this//
Far from boring Mally, good to hear something positive on AB ;-)
I've known many addicts (drink and drugs) over the years who havn't made it, but equally, I've known far more addicts who have. Admittedly after many, many set backs but this sounds so good from what you have said.
Very best wishes to you all. X
