Bowel Screening Homekits

Received a home bowel screening kit from NHS. Are they 100% accurate with their results. Please thank you.

they never used to be 100%, though I believe they've changed the kits. The accompanying literature will probably tell you they're pretty good but not perfect.

They are as reliable as as any test like that can be.If all clear you receive a letter saying you do not have symptoms at the moment but it doesn’t mean you won’t develop bowel cancer in future.By the way, the new sample kit is far less time consuming than the old ones.

If you got a booklet with it, it says on page 12, No screening is 100% effective.

better than being knocked out or stunned for an endoscope - I cringe at the thought of all those turds floating around the Royal Snail but I guess there isn't that much more these days. To be fair, the procedure is easier, smaller and, should I say, less messy now!

rather than smearing top and bottom of your excrement across the card four times, now it's a tiny 'caviar' spoon they give you and you insert it into a small receptacle that couldn't even put a Covid vaccine in and send it back to the NHS.
