Severe Leg Pain
5 Answers
This pain at the top of my left leg is driving me mad. As well as my mother. Horrendous cramping pain directly opposite my groin on my thigh. I have had for weeks. Spoken to some GP twice on the Phone who is insistent the pain is coming from bulging discs from L5 and L6 an old MRI scan 9 months ago. She prescribed pregabalin I had to come off it. It sent me crazy. The only pain relief I can get is cocodamol 8 x 30/500mg a day. Anyway my mother thinks my speech is slurred on the phone in the morning. And yesterday my brother phoned me in the afternoon when I was half asleep and said my speech was slurred and told my mother. I have been taking 2 every 4 hours? Is that too much I was thinking every 6 hours perhaps spread them out. I took 2 at 530pm could take another 2 at 1130pm and that would get me through the night. I do like the feeling of euphoria you get to be honest. I am going to phone my regular GP tomorrow and insist on an examination I don't see how they can do decide this without one I personally think it is a blocked artery in my leg. I am seriously thinking about paying £500 to see a private vascular consultant for a consultation and a vascular ultrasound at a private clinic ??
