Pre-Op Nerves

I suffer from bad circulation in my legs.I am due to go into hospital for an operation ony Varicose veins and am entering into the unknown. Can anyone who has experienced this operation and any, if any, after effects.

I had my varicose veins stripped some years ago now with absolutely no problem both during and after the op. Hopefully it will be the same for you. Good luck

No I haven't had the operation.
Don't think they "strip" them anymore but just identify and tie of the "feeders ".
Multiple small incisions.....no big deal.

MrJ2 had 1 leg 'stripped' some years ago. He wasn't keen when other leg needed doing, but it is totally different these days, done by injection. We are just waiting for the hole in his leg, caused by removal of a large tumour some years ago now, to heal - it is tantalisingly close, but the dratted thing just refuses too close copletely. Grrrrr.... sorry, I meant that he would like to have this leg done and isn't worried about it.
