I’m finding inconsistent results from Google….
I am a senior male with hypothyroidism and hypertension- not forgetting mild lung fibrosis.
I’m just trying to fight back on wrinkles!
Your opinion is valued - Just please don’t refer me to my GP whom I think doesn’t give a rats tail about me or my wife…..Thanking you in advance.

You might be better off eating chicken soup, or bone broth which is currently trendy. Just boil up a few chicken carcasses...or get beef or other ruminant animal bones from your butcher. When I say boil, I really mean slowcook...the longer the better. Have a cup of that several times a week. Cheaper and tastes good.

its not particularly clear what you are asking - but are you asking for an anti-wrinkle cream?
it's hard to see why a GP would be interested in wrinkles in a senior person. It'd be a bit like saying "but i'm getting grey hair ...."
oh my god, ignre my answer i didnt read the whole of your q title! JUst ignore me please, sorry!

There are NO benefits to taking liquid or any other collagen supplements.

It is abracadabra medicine.

Your money Matt.

Thank you all for your responses…
I did consume one whole pack of Collagen Powder- and the wrinkling I had on the insides of both arms almost disappeared!- Maybe just a placebo effect!
Anyway, my concern was with someone saying when you have hypertension- one already has too much collagen!- Does that make sense?
Baxters do a bone broth soup which is on sale in most supermarkets.
Careful with those as they can have unnecessary additives. Much better to make your own.
Looking at that, there's more pearl barley than bone broth.
Re the Baxters - check this review.

//It's ok, not amazing With only 2ml of 'bone broth extract' in a 400ml can, they've added the tiniest amount just so they can include it in the name. Don't expect a nice collagen rich bone broth, you wouldn't notice if it wasn't even there.//
Sqad - is that your view on all vitamin/mineral supplements in general ie multi vitamins etc? The tablet ones too etc - do you feel any are worth taking?
Smowball.....unless blood tests have shown that you have a Vitamin deficiency for whatever reason the the taking of Vitamins is a waste of time a money.

The only exception to the above is perhaps Vitamin D3 which may be advantageous in certain circumstances BUT watch the dose 1000I.U daily should be maximum.
Interesting - Thanku v much sqad. Recent hospital stay & almost daily blood tests show that I am apparently low in both thiamine and magnesium. They suggested a general multi vitamin now I’m home, tho whilst a patient they had me on liquid intravenous drips.
