How To Stop Falling For Someone That Doesnt Know Me
3 Answers
i rly need advice because im going crazy. There is this boy on my school that is like 3 years older than me and probably the schools best-looking guy. I dont know him personally and we have never really had a actual conversation. I have been staring at him and talking about him without him giving me any attention for 1 year and a half now. I know i have no chances with him because he is older and way out of my league in general and honestly i have accepted that. But as hard as i tried i cant stop thinking about him, looking at him and talking about him. I have promised myself so many times that i would stop and i just cant. And by keeping my mind on him i just keep getting sadder klnowing that he will never give me tha attention i want. It is unbelievable how depressed this situation is making him.I dont think i have feelings i just want to be the girl that got to be with such a hard guy out of my league. I daydream about him and then i go to school with him not even noticing me. There is no way i am telling him about how i feel i am too scared to be rejected. I just need someone to tell me what to do to stop being so obsessed with him and just live my life without paying attention to him. PLEASE

Imagining someone is easy and safe because he can be perfect. He is never wrong, would never hurt you, and will always be how you think he is.
When you start exploring real relationships, you will see that we are all flawed, and have our bad points, and that is OK, that's what makes us human.
Then you will look back on this valuable part of growing up and know that it was worth it because exploring your feelings is part of it.
Hang in there, this will pass when someone real occupies your thoughts and emotions.

A lot of us will at some time meet someone who doesn't even notice us , it happened to me.
I wasn't at school but in my first job and he worked for the same company.
When he got married I was heartbroken but realised that I just had to accept it, and eventually I met someone, got married and left the firm so never saw him again.
It might be that you will carry a torch for this boy until you leave school then you will probably both go your separate ways, and you will get over him I promise.
You might not forget him, but you will one day accept he probably isn't the one for you.
It's almost like fancying a film star and there's no harm in that, but you just have to realise that that film star is probably never going to feel the same way about you.
Just admire from afar.
Mamya and Andy have both given very good advice.
