To Those Who Have Had Treadmills Are They Worth It?
28 Answers
I’m thinking of getting a treadmill but am not 100 percent sure whether to as I’m concerned about it ruining the look of the home and looking tacky. Its a large one I’m looking at (100cm width which folds up) and it would have to go in the kitchen
Ive been running/training on and off most of my life but have trouble being motivated to train after comming in from work. I don’t work from home I’m in a hospital all day and it’s nice to be able to work out at home and control the times/speed/incline etc, rather than going to the track all the time
I’l most definitely use it but I’m worried about it taking up too much space
Has anyone has a treadmill what do you think?

I agree that it saves time rather than driving to a gym or track, our previous one got hammered by OH and two of our children, all three used it every day. The current one got folded up a couple of years ago and has stayed unused as the children no longer live here and OHs knees are too creaky now.
Overall I think it’s a good idea.

I have a cross trainer which doesn't take up so much space and exercises more of your body.
As there is only me I keep it in the dining room. Yes, I do use it.
Had been going to the gym for 24 years and then it closed a couple of months ago, unfortunately.
Not so easy to train at home as more inclined to put it off or get distracted. When you go to the gym you are focused.
