If You Had A Twin, But Didn't Realise...

Still dark here, was woken up by one of the cats gently tapping me on the nose with her paw lol, as if to say hey it's breakfast time! Mind you they often do that in the night - I just try and keep still & play dead lol.
First day of not stressing about Xmas presents/post/times etc - every single present has now been bought and all necessary ones posted! Thank god. Just MrSmow and in-laws ones to wrap but as long as they're done by Xmas Eve.... so no rush..
Going to try and have a fairly lazy day today & chill out. Mind you whenever I say that there is still always the daily task of something for dinner, tidying, washing etc, but I will do my best!
Whats everyone else's plans? Anyone off out to buy any last min bits? Or anything else?x

Its just a quiet day for us, cards that needed sending have gone so its just a few in the village that we will hand deliver. Presents still to do but that shouldn't take long to wrap. I used to love wrapping all the kids presents when they went to bed on christmas eve and the inevitable fight with the sellotape end which always got stuck on the roll and was impossible to find. Sometimes I wish I had savoured it more at the time, oh well
I am sorry to hear about your mum Rowan
Have a nappy day everyone
I intend to do wrapping today, as daughter and her partner both have to do Christmas shopping. We are out to eat tonight. I think the restaurant is called The Big Easy...and specialises in American diner food.
Rosetta, thanks for the shortest day reminder. Another few weeks and we may be seeing crocus poking from the ground.
