what is the best bit of 'good luck' you've ever had?
what is the best bit of sheer good luck you've ever had? my friends all consider me to be an extremely lucky person...i often seem to be in the right place at the right time.
I best bit ever was when i had no cash at all. i was sitting in a cafe with my mate worrying bout paying the rent. i said to my friend that i'm sure something would come up (it normally always does). we left the cafe and strolled to the car. suddenly i looked down and saw a twenty pound note by my tyre...and another...and another. we found 500 in total. i'm shamd to say i kept it...but my rent got paid that month. and i am a good person and i did deserve it.
anyone else had any mad strokes of good luck to share?

Yet the strange thing is...i have had more health problems than her, she is very healthy..maybe a balance there. i wonder who will die first..3 yrs between us....mmmmmmm i wonder!!
Been ages since I read Bill Bryson but the way he described evolution it's a bloody miracle I am here full stop. Can't remember exactly how he said it, but it was along the lines of... you are lucky that your parents and their parents, and your parents' parents' parents and so on mated when they did and that nothing went wrong and that the right animals went extinct and that famine, diseases, ice ages, volcanoes, asteroids, etc etc not once interrupted the line that connects you to those tiny organisms from which we all evolved.
