Ankylosing Spondylitis

I have a friend coming to stay with me in September and she has this complaint. She says when her back is really bad she almost sleeps upright using 6 pillows wedged either side of her.
She will be in the guest room in a single bed with only two pillows but I wanted to buy the type of pillow that is an upside down V shape and I don't know what they are called to even find a supplier. Can anyone give me any links please?

One of my kids had a spondolythesis which is similar I gather and we had extra pillows including some v shaped ones once they were over the lying flat on their back phase which if I remember we bought from Dunelm Mills.Hope this helps.

Ok I have checked the details on the site that noxlumos gave. I can't see the pillow cases to fit so emailed the manufacturers direct. Naz and Red (sorry for the abbreviations to your names - It's Sunday and I abbreiviate all names each and every Sunday) I'll check those links out too, thank you.

It's strange but I tried Google search first but was stuck in knowing what subject to enter. "Upside down v shaped pillows" got me some strangelinks - nothing to do with pillows I hasten to add, but they were certainly entertaining to view!

if you just put v shaped pillow or v pillow in google there is loads of them. as that is what they are called!

you will probably get one in mothercare too as there is something very similar for breastfeeding mums.

Ok - thank you all so much for the info. I'll check the links and get a pillow from one of them. useful to have anyhow for the chesty cold or back ache when you need to be more upright. As to getting this for the spare bedroom for my friend to use I know she'll love it.
