Food for Sport >Any advice GREATLY appreciated

Hi, i've recently started a fairly intense exercise programme -approx 60 mins gym (resistence + cardio training) 5 days a week, 60 mins swimming twice a week, and regular games of squash, tennis + soccer. I'm also employed in a job that provides plenty of exercise (strength based, not cardio).
I really want to ensure i get the maximum out of all this (preparing for the Air Force), so planning the right diet is obviously important.
Anyway... i've got a pamplet that has examples of 20g carb portions (e.g.1 medium bananna) + 15 g protein portions (e.g. 2 large eggs) to base an eating plan round, which i've done, but the examples are limited and as such don't provide much of a varied /interesting diet.
SO: Does anyone know of any website that has a clear list of many different possibilities for carb + protein foods for such an eating plan??
Thanks heaps for all suggestions

awesome normy, many thanks, this is exactly what i was after. Just wondering, and not a food based question, but you don't happen to have any contacts in the Air Force, namely pilots? -this is the position i'm applying for (though in the Royal NZ AF), and will undertake the final testing stage next year -so if you did happen to know anyone with experience in this area, having gone through a similar evaluation themeslves, + they had any advice on what to expect etc. that could prove to be very useful.
Thanks again for the advice

My contacts are mainly caterers, however, caterers are probably the most popular people in the forces ( providing the food they provide is good!)
I will speak to a couple of guys I know, and see if they can steer me in the right direction for you.
If you can let me have a some contact details, I will let you know how I progress.
