blotches on my skin

for a while now i have had some round blotches on my skin,but only on my chest.when its warm they are red and other times they are pale but you can still see them becouse the skin is slightly raised and sort of dry looking.these do not itch though! annyone have an idea what it maybe or what could coase it?thanks in advance.

Best to see a doctor. Could be a local eczema caused by nerves and/or heat and might need some cortisone cream.

i thought it might be a stress thing,havnt had time to go to docs becouse of work.ill try though.cheers.

Eczema can sometimes be caused by stress. During uni I used to get a few patches on my arms- nothing major but slightly red and slighty scaly looking...E45 cream may help, lavender essential oil has a calming effect and can be used neat or diluted in a sensitive moisturiser/carrier oil. Try not to use heavily perfumed shower gels or spray perfume/ cologne onto the area as this may irritate & dry it. B vitamins are good for the skin in times of stress (if you feel that stress may be a factor). Try not to worry about it though- it will probably go of its own accord in time. DO consult a doctor if bothers you though. :)
