Hi, I have been diagnosed with this, and want to buy a light box/dawn simulator. Anybody got any experience of these,,,,,,,,,,are they any good, any preference? any advice at all really please. They look like they are well worth the investment just wanted to hear from someone who actually knows..............thanks.

I have no personal experience of them. You can buy bulbs that have the same effect. A freind of mine tried them & found them good. I`ll check out more info for you.

A colleague at work is a sufferer and she has enjoyed considerable benefit from a light box which she has on her desk - she does reccomend the concept to help.

We were discussing this at work a few weeks ago, we found some bulbs that had the same effect as the light boxes, and they were only about �5 each in the UK, the ones on ebay seemed really expensive. Everyone I know that has used one has raved about them, I was thinking about getting some for my house.

You can read all about these bulbs on the web. They are called Full spectum bulbs. There are numerous sites, but all more or less say the same.

Thanks beejaybee, just been on ebay and looked at the bulbs, might consider getting them and an alarm clock that simulates sunrise/sunset, they look quite good, and the reviews I've seen are quite good. Thanks again
