BuTrans. Has anybody used this?

Hi, I have been given BuTrans for my back pain, whilst awaiting further surgery [could be anything up to 18 months!!]. I seem to be getting a few side effects; sweating [very heavily], shortness of breath and light-headedness. All of these are listed as side effects, but are driving me nuts, luckily my kids are away with their dad at the momment, so I'm just 'riding it out'. My question is....Have any of you used these patches? Did you get side effects, how long did they last? Did you find it an effective pain killer? I am now on 30mcg a week by the way.
