Who do you contact about finding out if something you need treating/doing is able to be funded on the NHS?

There must be a body with an address where individual cases and applications are considered.

An address?

Any help appreciated.

Agree with in a pickle - your local PCT in England or Wales, Health board in scotland (and N. Ireland i think) should be able to help to some extent - In general cosmetic only operations will not be funded - ask your GP about the problem else - they should be able to help.
BTW NHS doesn't really exist as such as it is devolved to the Welsh/Scottish Parliaments who fund and control things differently to the DoH in England - N.Ireland is with the Dept for N Ireland at least til they have their own parliament!
