Candida

Any permanent cure for my wifes recurring candidiasis? Prescription drugs don't work, and some so called health foods are just money making rackets.

However, there is one good, really good product. It's called Threelac and you can get it via googling it, or even a tad cheaper on ebay. I used to get thrush every month (too much information I know!) and felt really run down. Dr's in the UK and not great candida experts or believers, so I had to do my own thing. This stuff really worked, I have only had one flare up this year and have felt much more lively and clear minded.
Good luck with this.
Good luck with this.
i have the same problem. She obviously has too much candida, so therefore a common thing most peopple forget to do is aviod yeast. Your wife must not eat foods that contain yeast, such as bread, rolls, beer, malt products or any other products that contain yeat.
Has she tried Caprylic acid? This is very good for recurring yeast problems both in the intestinal tracks and external infections. Also, a candida supplement from Holland & Barratt is meant to be good, as well as prebiotics such as Prebio 7 (9.99) from H&B. This supplements do not provide instant miracle cures straight away and she must take them for a couple of weeks to see the benefits.
There is no permanant cure for candidiasis, as the human body always has normal levels of yeast and your wifes condition is created by flare ups of candida. This is caused by external and internal aggressors, especially the diet and stress, which also causes the condition and has a strong link. Sometimes stressing about the condition can make it worse, but i know how stressful it can be. Oregano and Goldenseal root also helps when taken with caprylic acid.

Theland..don't take this the wrong way, but I am assuming you enjoy a physical relationship with your wife. Are you making sure that you, yourself are well treated? I used to suffer terribly for years. My husband left me (not because if that!) and I haven't had it since. I was the one taking the pills, pessaries and god knows what else, and he just had to apply some cream. Maybe he wasn't doing it thoroughly enough, I don't know. Probably coincidence, but you never know.....
It can also be brought on by the act of sex ... this is one of my triggers. I have never found that on any internet site but I know it to be true. Hence at the beginning of a relationship when passions are high, it may be at its most active. I also find that it occurs generally in the second two weeks of the cycle, so hormones play a part too.
