recently i went to the doctor about lumps on my sons neck and he said it was the limfnods or something to that effect, but now he has got a lump just below his armpit would this be much and such the same or should i get it seen to?
I'm guessing he meant lymph nodes which play a part in the body's defence system. These are also found in your armpit. They can swell in illness or be a sign of other conditions.
Any lump like this should be checked out asap, I'd get him to the doctors as soon as you can.
It may be the same thing and put your mind at rest but best to get it checked out.
You also have lymph nodes (as is their correct terminology) under the armpit. If your son has swollen lymphnodes, then this is a sign that his body is trying hard to fight some kind of infection. Lymphnodes collect and destroy the 'rubbish' collected by the lymphatic system. They are swollen because they cannot cope with the amount of 'rubbish' they are trying to filter. I think you should take your son back to the Dr and express concern.
