Ringing in the ears

Loud bang 4-5 weeks ago has caused very loud ringing in the ears. Unable to sleep at night, even with sleeping tablet & ovaltine. Have taken homeopathic remedy which didnt seem to anything. Just taking tablets from the doc's today. Anyone any advise greatly received. As cant cope.

hi cockroach,
you have probably damaged your eardrum, maybe not permantly, the ringing is more than likely tinitus,
which i suffer from, unfortunatly that usually is permanant.
in most cases.
