sore throat

i have had a sore throat for nearly four weeks, it started with the uaual cold but now is very painful on just the left of my throat feels like i have cut something or maybe got an ulcer, anyone had similiar

my husband has had a sore throat for weeks now. He hasnt had a cold just the sore throat.

its driving me mad, its just on the left side and feels as tho' something is stuck
