losing weight
4 Answers
I went on a diet 3 months ago because my cholesterol is extremely high and I was about 2 overweight. I am a vegetarian but was eating quite a bit of dairy and eggs at the time.
So I started eating better (less junk food, more fruit and veg, etc.) and have been going to the gym at least 4 days a week for an hour.
Since I started my diet, I have lost almost 20 pounds, and have gone down almost 2 full sizes. The problem is I seem to have plateaued and am barely losing any weight now, but I am still 10 pounds heavier than my target weight.
Any advice on how to dump those last 10 pounds??
TIA

You need to change your routine, your body will get used to it and so you have probably noticed it is now easier down the gym etc. Vary your routine and change your food slightly also have you tried seeing a homeopath? My Mum went and I thought it was a load of rubbish but actually she's lost 2 stone now. They can advise foods you may have an intolerance to ie hers was natural sugars so for example mushrooms was something she had to cut out plus she can now only eat fruit on its own. It maybe something worth considering as it clearly works if your are storing these extra 10lbs around the waist line, if you are someone who is usually stressed this will be why again a homeopath can work. Congratultaions again and keep it up!
Thanks, DJerba!
I have to admit, I am really proud of myself! I spent 2 years putting the weight on and I am really determined to get it off for good now! All of my old clothes are starting to fit again!
I will consider your suggestions, and I will try to vary my workout a bit (though I love it as it is!).
Thanks again.
