Hey, you will be fine!
The worst bit is the initial aneasthetic injection, which is a tiny sting, after that, you wont feel anything except sensations, and hear a bit of noise.
Try not to tense up during the procedure, relax your shoulders and concentrate on something else, like a future holiday, or a shopping list.
It really is all in the mind!
You're not a wimp, 99% of the population feel the same!
you will be fine, the anaesthetic will do its job. i had the remainder of a tooth out last week that had been attached to a crown and the dentist had to dig up into my gum, but it was fine, dont worry.
It really hurt!...the anestectic didnt take, she said this was because it was so infected after 3 injections I just told her to do it anyway. i went to the dentist at 3 o clock and my mouth was finally numb at 6!!... Im fine now though, it taught me at least 1 lesson.... Go to the dentist sooner rather than later!! LOL
