Veins on legs, anyone know of good treatments
5 Answers
My wife has always had bad circulation and as time moves on her veins on her laegs are getting worse and worse. they are now bulging and dark blue coloured.
They are really affecting her self esteem and she feels uncomfortable in skirts.
There are many websites selling creams and treatments like 'vein away' and similar, has anyone tried these, and what are the best treatments to try. some seem miraculous but very expensive...
Can anyone shed some light here, and anyones actual experiences are very, very welcome.

It's a failry brief(40 minutes roughly) procedure and doesn't usually require an overnight stay.
As an alternative, when seen in clinic some patients are given injections of a sclerosing substance into the vein which can negate the need for surgery, but that all depends on her circumsatnces, severity etc.
Best of luck.
