One in three people do not bother protecting their skin from the sun a study has shown. Tens of thousands of cases of skin cancer are diagnosed each year yet this does not put others off risking themselves to what can be a fatal disease. What do you think? Why aren't we wising up and protecting ourselves?

One in eight adults smoke.

Same thing methinks.
Out of a population of 6.7 billion.. and with the maximum that '10s of thousands' can mean, gives us a 0.00149% chance. According to some private health company advert, 1 in 3 of us will get cancer anyway... Hmmm.... Oh well, we'll all cark it in the end.

Why the heck is suncream so expensive? I bought sunblock for Mini Boo last week which cost me 11.00! Surely this price is out of reach for anyone who's strapped for cash.
Sun in Britain ???? are you taking the pi55???
It's a fact that the human race began life in Africa and spread outwards from there. If our distant ancestors were born with dark skin and the planet is getting hotter can we assume that our distant offspring will also be born with darker skin to cope?
How is it a fact that human life began in Africa ? Where did you get that one from ?
I have lived here in Spain for 36yrs and have very rarely put on sun protection cream, one just doesn't think about it when going about normal life. Luckily I know of no one who has skin cancer, BUT this doesn't mean to say that you should be careless. And do remember that even on a cloudy day, the rays are still hitting you!!
